Sustainability initiatives

Our mission

At YumGo, sustainability and well-being are at the heart of everything we do. Food should not only taste good ... it should also do good. That’s why we align our work with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

SDG 3

Good Health and Well-being

Our core mission of delivering fresh, local, and nutritious food supports healthier lifestyles and hopes to reduce diet-related health risks and promote healthy eating with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. We aim to reduce diet-related health risks and promote healthy eating through: Communicating with vendors to design balanced meal boxes. Publishing evidence-based health content on our blog. Highlighting healthy and vegetarian options through curated categories.

SDG 4

Quality education

We believe that in order to make good decisions and bring about meaningful change, we need to be informed and then take action. That is why, beyond delivering food, we consider education to be a vital part of sustainable transformation. Our initiatives include: Blog posts and vlogs about food systems, sustainability, and health. Partnerships with schools and community centers to organize workshops on healthy eating. We inspire the next generation to adopt sustainable practices.
